As usual 2010 promises to be a busy year for the group with a number of projects already confirmed.
Apart from our regular litter picks, we are delighted to be involved with the proposed butterfly field in the walled garden (adjacent to the HaHa). This promises to be a crucially important habitat creation project, initiated by the rangers, and with the help of local scouts and brownies will add to the biodiversity of the country park.

Ramble 2010
We have also been asked again by Neath Town Council to run our Gnoll Ramble again this year. This will conclude Neath Festival Week and our walk will take place on May 15th. In order to build on this success, we are proposing this year to offer an extended tour taking in the fourth pond.
Our proposed aganda for May 15th is as follows:
10.30am: Depart visitors centre for guided walk of grounds around the Gnoll house including tour of cellars.
12.30pm: Lunch Break at visitor centre.
1.30pm: Depart visitors centre for walk through mosshouse woods to the fourth pond.
3.30pm: Arrive back at vistors centre.
There is no charge to join the ramble, making it an excellent way to familiarise yourself with some lesser known aspects of the Gnoll Estates' fascinating past.
We welcome ramblers to joins us for either the morning or afternoon walks, or both if feeling energetic. However, please be advised that the afterrnoon walk with take in areas with uneven ground.
